Why work with me?

You may look like you’re managing life well on the outside—but inside, you feel alone in what you’re carrying.

Many of my clients are high-functioning, responsible, and faithful people who are showing up for everyone else—while on the inside feel emotionally exhausted, unseen, or stuck. They are often the ones others rely on. They are thoughtful and often deeply committed to their faith and relationships but struggle at times to have a space to share their own concerns. From the outside, they appear steady and put together, yet they are carrying experiences that feel hard to name and even harder to share. I'm here to offer you a place to share, process, and move forward confidently.

You might be navigating:

  • New medical diagnosis or ongoing chronic health issue

  • Relationship struggles, difficulty dating, or discerning your vocation

  • Loneliness or emotional disconnection (even when you have solid relationships with others)

  • Infertility, miscarriage, or reproductive grief and loss

  • Caregiving stress or burnout

  • Regret, shame, or confusion around and during major life transitions

  • Anxiety, depression, low self esteem, or self-doubt

  • Perfectionism

You don’t have to carry this alone.

I offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing. We will work together to find clarity, be curious, and find ways to show up in a more authentic way where your Catholic faith will be honored and can be integrated in the process.

When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. (Isaiah 43:2)

About Bridget

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing telehealth therapy to clients in Florida and California with over a decade of clinical experience.

My work is grounded in an attachment-based approach, with an emphasis on how early relationships shape patterns of connection, emotion, and identity in adulthood. My style is warm, authentic, and direct; even a little humorous at times because we need joy to offset the heavier parts of life.

I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support practical change in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, along with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with couples to strengthen emotional connection and attachment security.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s needs, while staying rooted in both clinical best practices and the Catholic understanding of the human person. It does not matter where you are planted within your faith journey- we will work together to connect on a level that works for you!

As a person of faith, I bring a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to my work. My background includes:

  • Clinical training at Stanford Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center as a medical social worker

  • Navigating complex family systems

  • Thriving in high-stress corporate environments

  • Supporting individuals of all ages through health challenges, relationship concerns, co-parenting situations, and major life transitions

  • Being a military spouse where I uniquely understand the complexities of change, resilience, and having to navigate the uncertainty of military deployments

My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and growth allowing you to show up as more authentic version of you for your family and loved ones- the version of you that God sees and loves. I want you to know that you aren't alone in your struggle, that your experience matters, and the ultimate goal is working to learn more about you, expand your ability to have healthier relationships, and grow as a person so you can have stronger, more connected and resilient relationships with yourself and others.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Anchored & Protected?

Anchored & Protected is inspired by Hebrews 6:19, which describes hope as "an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." Being anchored represents the idea that regardless of where you end up in the journey of life, you are anchored in faith and can bring your values, joy, love, and best self anywhere you go. Being protected means you have God along your walk whatever your circumstances.

How can I book a session?

Please click the link below to directly schedule a 15 minute consult call or fill out the information form to discuss your needs and we will find a time to schedule your first session!

Do you take insurance?

I operate a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Private-pay therapy offers greater privacy and flexibility, as insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and may limit the type or duration of treatment they will cover. This allows us to focus on your unique goals and needs rather than insurance requirements. For clients with out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy provides a safe place to process emotional wounds, overcome obstacles, and strengthen your mental and emotional health. This can include a mental health diagnosis and appropriate treatment. It is a regulated healthcare service under my license. At this time I am able to see therapy clients in Florida and California.

Coaching is for those who want intentional support as they pursue the person God created them to be. Together we'll identify what's holding you back, create practical strategies, and take consistent action rooted in your identity in Christ. At this time I am offering coaching specifically in regards to dating and relationships. This is available nationwide.
